PBS Construction is delighted to be backing the Hull Seahawks for the 2024/25 season having agreed to become the player sponsor for Bobby Chamberlain.
It’s not the first time that the company have backed Bobby and PBS Chairman, Pete Smurthwaite, is happy to be rekindling the partnership with the Hull-born Seahawks’ star.
“We are pleased to continue our sponsorship of ice hockey in the city which we have done for a few years now,” he said. “We have been previous sponsors of Bobby who is someone we have known since he played in the Kingston Juniors days with my grandson, Leon.
“He has also worked for our company in the past and we are very pleased to be able to renew our sponsorship of Bobby and trust him and the team will have another successful season and maintain a good standard of ice hockey in the city.
“Hopefully, we can see another increase in the attendances on match day, too. We realise how important sponsorship is to local sports clubs and are pleased to support Joe and Matty in keeping the sport alive in this city.”
Hull Seahawks Commercial Manager, Callum Gladding, added:
“Getting PBS Construction back supporting ice hockey in Hull and player sponsoring Bobby is absolutely massive for the club. We’re delighted to be able link Bobby up with his previous employer as I know there’s a relationship there and there has been for many years which is what hockey is all about.
“We look forward to welcoming Pete and his family back to the Hull Ice Arena and we can’t wait to see the PBS Construction logo on the back of Bobby’s jerseys for this season.”
