As a company, we’re proud to play a small part in supporting local sports talent and for the first time, we’re delighted to be sponsoring the Hull Daily Mail’s Sporting Champions Awards.
The awards recognise the region’s best young sporting talent, and nominations are open until 15 December. The 12 award categories recognise the best under-18 sports stars of the future, while honouring those unsung heroes who make junior and amateur sport across our region possible.
PBS is sponsoring the Sporting Inspiration category, which will celebrate an individual who has shown incredible energy and overcome barriers, setbacks and challenges in achieving their goals. This may be following a devastating injury or fighting against the odds to take their place in a team. The winner will be an individual with a truly inspiring story.
As a business, we’re committed to supporting local young people and we have a passion for sport, so these awards were the perfect fit. We can’t wait to celebrate with these inspirational youngsters on the night.
The awards take place on 24 January at the KCOM Stadium.
