GENERAL OVERVIEW

Excavating the existing bridge deck and removing the existing steel beams to be replaced with new reinforcement and backfilled with concrete and type one stone.

SCOPE DELIVERED

• Planed and disposed existing tarmacadam surfacing 200mm to expose the concrete bridge deck.

• Excavate each 3.1m section by 2.10m in depth. Cut and remove the existing steel beams and dispose off site.

• Shutter and pump foamed concrete into cavities under the existing footpath to strengthen the bridge.

• Supply and install type one stone in 150mm layers to strengthen the bridge.

• Install tarmacadam surfacing and line marking
