GENERAL OVERVIEW

Demolish former buildings, remove foundations and backfill with temporary Type 1 stone finish for future development works. Various improvement works to car park, including installation of new and upgrade to lighting columns.

SCOPE DELIVERED

  • Clearance of American Golf & Maplin Retail Unit interior ready for demolition
  • Carefully take up existing paving slabs and take to client store for future use, for paving not incorporated in new design
  • Demolition of former units and removal of concrete slab and foundations to 1m depth, building footprint area of 603m2
  • Make good surrounding landscaped and paved areas, including brick wall. Cap off redundant drainage
  • Backfill building footprint area with imported Type 1 stone, a temporary finish to allow for future development works
  • Installation of knee rail fence to building footprint perimeter for safety purposes
  • Installation of 2no new 7m galvanised steel lighting columns with flood lights. Installation of new duct & cable route to supply new columns
  • Replace 10no flood lights on existing lighting columns to be retained
  • Installation of new feeder pillar to supply columns following new connection to site by NPG
  • Cleaning & servicing of existing car park interceptor, jetting & clearance of all linear drainage channels
  • Replace existing 6no car park entrance bollards with new 4no Telescopic bollards
