The works on this scheme included for the highway improvements of one of the busiest signal controlled junctions in Scunthorpe.

SCOPE OF WORKS 

• Widening of the carriageway to aid installation of a new cycle lane along Brigg Road
• Resurfacing of the existing carriageway
• Footpath reconstructions
• Installation of new and updated traffic signals
• Removal of existing ducting and drainage system and replacement with new drainage design
• Installation of new and updated traffic signs
• Repositioning of traffic islands
• Refreshed road markings
