PBS Construction will continue to back Hull FC during the 2021 season after agreeing two separate commercial partnerships with the club.
Having supported young full back Connor Wynne during the past two seasons, PBS will once again be his player sponsor for the forthcoming campaign. In addition to this, the business will also be the club’s interchange partner for the 2021 season. A new venture for PBS, this will see the company branding on the interchange boards and the company name announced over the stadium PA at home fixtures whenever either team make a change.
These two new agreements extend the company’s longstanding relationship with the club having previously been a shirt partner for four years. During that period, FC recorded those memorable back-to-back Challenge Cup victories at Wembley.
The company are proud to be continuing their support of the club and Glenn Smurthwaite, Managing Director, said:
“We’re delighted to be backing Hull FC again in 2021 as it maintains our longstanding association with the club.
“Having been one of the shirt partners in recent years, this will also be our third year of sponsoring Connor Wynne. We are a local family business so it’s nice to be able to support a local talent and hopefully it’s beneficial for both Connor and the club.
“Becoming the interchange partner for the 2021 season is a new venture for us but one that we’re very much looking forward to.
“All clubs will be relying more than ever on their commercial partners and we’re happy to be backing the club in these challenging times. As a family we are all Hull FC supporters and if we can play a small part in helping the club to be successful then we’ll be more than happy.”
Nick Derbyshire, Commercial Manager at Hull FC, added:
“Hull FC are delighted to have the continuing support of PBS Construction, and are looking forward to many more successful seasons working alongside them as a valued sponsor and supporter of the club.”
