There was double joy for PBS in the recent Hull Building Safety Group Awards 2021 with both the business and one of its employees picking up accolades.
As a business PBS was delighted to receive the ‘Best Site Safety Performance to Principal Contractor’ award and that was added to with Alan Clarke winning the ‘Best Site Safety Performance to a Site Manager’ award.
Mark Dobson, Director at Hull Building Safety Group, recently visited the PBS offices to make the presentations with Pete Smurthwaite (PBS Chairman) and Danny Long (PBS Health & Safety Manager) receiving the principal contractor award on behalf of the business. Pete also helped Mark present the site manager award to Alan.
Mark commented: “PBS are a valued and key member of Hull Building Safety Group. They continually show a desire and commitment to improve and deliver the best standards possible on their projects. It is clear that Health and Safety holds an integral part of their business and the Principal Contractor Award reflects this.
“Alan constantly demonstrates this attitude and culture on his projects, often going the extra mile to ensure that health and safety of everyone involved on his sites.
